  🧩 Safer Internet Day: Learning e-Safety Through Play

  Before diving into global collaboration, our students mastered the rules of the digital world. For Safer Internet Day, they teamed up to solve an educational puzzle game. Through this hands-on teamwork activity, they pieced together the core principles of "Digital Identity" and online safety, learning how to protect their personal data and navigate project spaces securely.

  

♻️ 1. Our School Waste Sorting Station

Our pupils turned civic lessons into sustainable daily routines by setting up a color-coded Waste Sorting Station in the school hallway. The children take active responsibility for sorting plastic and paper, proving that small everyday habits lead to a cleaner school environment.

🫒 2. Circular Chemistry: Olive Upcycling

Our students explored the principles of the circular economy and local environmental protection by upcycling agricultural waste from olive production. Together, we conducted simple scientific experiments in class to transform olive pomace (fitoura) and used cooking oil into eco-friendly candles and sustainable blocks.

🧸 3. From Waste to Toys: Upcycled Creative Dolls

To explore the creative side of the circular economy, our students focused on reusing non-biodegradable waste to create handmade toys. By transforming discarded plastic bottles, caps, and materials, they successfully designed and crafted an upcycled plastic doll. This hands-on activity beautifully demonstrated how everyday waste can be reimagined into joyful, eco-friendly creations!
