SustainLab Project Successfully Completed: A Journey of Hope for the Future

The SustainLab project, which we carried out as a founding partner of Bağlıca Anatolian High School, has been successfully completed. This meaningful project, implemented with the goal of a sustainable future, has been an exemplary educational process where our students gained environmental awareness, took an active role, produced while learning, and took responsibility.

Throughout the project, thanks to the activities, research, and practical studies, our students have better understood their responsibilities towards nature, developed sustainable living habits, and strengthened their solution-oriented thinking skills. The work produced shows that education is not limited to the classroom, while also reflecting the hopeful perspectives of our young people for the future.

Geography Teacher Meryem Örük and Turkish Language and Literature Teacher Leyla Çinici, who led the project, inspired our students and guided them throughout this process.

Our students involved in the project:

11th grade students: Ayşe Belinay, Berna, Ece, Melis Dila, Eylül, Eylül İkra, Özgesi, Ela, İpek, Esmanur, Kübra, Eyşan

10th grade students: Ceylin, Muhammet Emin, Zeynep Asya, Veysel Yiğit, Defne, Gülceren

9th grade students: Ahmet Cevdet, İpek, Eren, Zeynep, Ali Selim, Aybige, Sude Firdevs

We sincerely thank all our students who contributed to this meaningful process, our valuable teachers who guided us, and our school administration for their continuous support. We believe that every step taken with SustainLab will leave lasting marks on the path to raising environmentally conscious individuals; we move forward with hope for a more livable future.
